STRIKE LOOMS OVER MAGISTRATES' WAGE DISPUTE

JOHANNESBURG - The Justice Ministry says it notes reports regarding a possible strike by some magistrates.

The Judicial Officers Association of South Africa representing 800 magistrates of just over 2000 across the country, has said it’s considering embarking on industrial action.

This is over issues of pay and a major review of salaries.
